Welcome Back!

From the desk of Ms. Mitchell-

Welcome back Evangelical Family,

Welcome back to a brand new year! I am blessed more than ever to be spending another year at Evangelical School!

This year in P.E we will learn new skills, sports and activities. Each month will be represented by an new sport skill.  We will use our sport skill to help us be successful during our activities!  On top of the activities we will play, we will also touch on the importance of nutrition and other health related topics.  It is very important to me that not only will my students learn the skills needed to play games, but that we learn teamwork, sportsmanship, how to cooperate with others and important life skills that will help each and every student grow!

I am pleased to inform you that I will also be teaching our brand new Health class this year to our middle school students! Our Health class will be covering a  different array of topics from our Glencoe Health Book  that are tailored to meet the Illinois State Standards and the different needs of each grade level.

God Bless-

Ms. Mitchell

Evangelical Families,

School is finally upon us!

Looking forward to another wonderful year at Evangelical! The students begin this school year out with discussing computer etiquette, proper behaviors in the computer lab, and touching base on computer basics! I am requesting donations of Clorox Wipes and Kleenex for my classroom. I plan on continuing the cleaning of all the keyboards at the end of each day and that requires a fair amount of Clorox Wipes! Any donation is greatly appreciated!  Healthy students are the best students!

Thank you,

Ms. Jones

Welcome to Mrs. Decker’s class!!! I am very excited and can’t wait to meet each and every one of you!!! I know we are going to have a phenomenal year!!!

Some things to look forward to this year is, of course, Camp DuBois, Trashformations, and Young Authors! We also will be doing more experiments in Science than in previous years.

We will begin this year in math with place value and move on from there. We will get into multi-digit multiplication and division, fractions, decimals, and some geometry.

Just a reminder that we will be having a picnic on Aug. 21st to observe the eclipse! I hope you will enjoy it with us!

We will have a fabulous year!!!!!
